Turned from a partially green piece of holly, left to dry and naturally develop cracks. Once fully dry, the gaps were filled with resin mixed with dark grey mica powder.
Laminated a mix of scrap plywood and veneers, then made two cuts in the opposite direction to rotate the middle piece 180°, before re-laminating it with additional scrap veneers.
